Asian Culture Station ได้รับโอกาสอันดีจาก คุณ ศุภมาศ พะหุโล ภัณฑารักษ์และผู้ร่วมก่อตั้ง BANGKOK CITYCITY GALLERY มาพูดคุยแลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์กัน เธอไม่ได้เพียงร่วมเป็นเจ้าของแกลเลอรี่เท่านั้น แต่ยังมีประสบการณ์ในการจัดการนิทรรศการและโครงงานทางศิลปะ/การออกแบบในการทำงานที่ TCDC กับที่อื่นๆ อีกหลากหลาย แล้วยังเคยเป็นผู้ประสานงานโครงการจดหมายเหตุศิลปะ AARA (About Art Related Activities) ด้วย

BANGKOK CITYCITY GALLERY นั้น เป็นแกลเลอรี่ ณ ใจกลางย่านธุรกิจของกรุงเทพฯ ที่ส่งเสียงภาษาทางศิลปะใหม่ๆ อย่างครึกครื้นมาตลอดตั้งแต่เปิดตัวในปลายปี 2558 ด้วยทั้งงานของ นวพล ธำรงรัตนฤทธิ์, วิศุทธิ์ พรนิมิตร, กรกฤต อรุณานนท์ชัย, มิติ เรืองกฤตยา ฯลฯ ซึ่งนี่ไม่ใช่เรื่องง่ายในการหาจุดลงตัวท่ามกลางเงื่อนไขต่างๆ ของเมืองใหญ่อย่างกรุงเทพฯ ให้เกิดนิทรรศการที่สามารถตอบสนองความสนใจของมวลชนและสามารถหล่อเลี้ยงวัฒนธรรมทางการคิดวิเคราะห์ไปด้วยกันได้

Mini Talk 【 In the CITYCITY, We Run Art 】 with Supamas Phahulo

Asian Culture Station is honored to have the opportunity to welcome Ms. Supamas Phahulo, a curator and co-founder of BANGKOK CITYCITY GALLERY, to talk about her experience in the art industry. Apart from being a co-owner of the gallery, she also had an extensive experience in managing numerous exhibitions and art/design projects during her time at TCDC and many other institutions. Also, she once worked as a coordinator for an art archive entitled AARA (About Art Related Activities).

BANGKOK CITYCITY GALLERY is a gallery located in a robust business district of Bangkok. It has always been voicing the language of new arts since its opening at the end of 2015 with the work of many well-known artists such as Nawapol Thamrongrattanarit, Wisut Ponnimit, Korakrit Arunanondchai, and Miti Ruangkritya. It is not easy to find a space where, amidst different requirements of a metropolitan city like Bangkok, an exhibition can be held to cater to the public interests while sustaining a culture of analytical thinking.
