Asian Culture Station เปิดรับสมัคร ศิลปินทัศนศิลป์ 1 คน เพื่อคัดเลือกเข้ามาทำงานในนิทรรศการเดี่ยวร่วมกับ คุณ วุธ ลีโน ภัณฑารักษ์จากกรุงพนมเปญ ประเทศกัมพูชา
กิจกรรมนี้เป็นโครงการต่อยอดจากการสัมมนา ‘งานภัณฑารักษ์ในเอเชีย’ ซึ่งได้จัดขึ้นในปีที่แล้วระหว่างวันที่ 15 – 17 กรกฎาคม และ ‘CAC workshop#1 ตั้งไข่ เตรียมตัวไปดวงจันทร์’ เมื่อวันที่ 26 สิงหาคม 2560
ผู้สมัครที่ได้รับคัดเลือกจะต้องสามารถมาพบกับภัณฑารักษ์เพื่อนำเสนอผลงานและแผนนิทรรศการคร่าวๆ อย่างน้อยหนึ่งถึงสองชั่วโมง ในวันที่ 23 – 25 พฤษภาคม 2561 (เวลานัดหมายที่แน่นอนจะเกิดขึ้นหลังจากปิดรับสมัคร) และสามารถผลิตผลงานสำหรับนิทรรศการที่จะจัดแสดงในช่วงเดือนตุลาคมถึงธันวาคม โดยจะมีกำหนดวันที่ชัดเจนหลังจากการคัดเลือกรอบสุดท้าย
คุณสมบัติเบื้องต้นสำหรับผู้สมัคร
1. สามารถสื่อสารภาษาอังกฤษได้ดี ทั้งการพูด ฟัง อ่าน เขียน เนื่องจากต้องร่วมงานกับภัณฑารักษ์จากประเทศในอุษาคเนย์ตลอดโครงการ
2. กรอกใบสมัครเป็นภาษาอังกฤษ พร้อมส่งแฟ้มงาน (portfolio) กับรูปภาพใบหน้าของผู้สมัคร แล้วคลิกส่ง – โปรดเตรียมลิงค์สำหรับดาวน์โหลดแฟ้มงานของท่านไว้ในเว็บฝากไฟล์ให้เรียบร้อย (มากที่สุด 15 หน้า และ ขนาดไม่เกิน 20 MB)
3. อาศัยอยู่ในจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ และสามารถมาร่วมโครงการในช่วงเวลาดังกล่าวได้
สิ่งที่ผู้ได้รับการคัดเลือกจะได้รับการสนับสนุน
1. ค่าธรรมเนียมสำหรับศิลปิน 15,000 บาท
2. ค่าธรรมเนียมการผลิตงาน 30,000 บาท
3. ทีมงานช่วยติดตั้งนิทรรศการ
4. การประชาสัมพันธ์นิทรรศการโดยทีมงาน ACS ทั้งทาง อีเมล์ เฟสบุค และ โปสเตอร์
5. การจัดอาหารและเครื่องดื่มต้อนรับในงานเปิดนิทรรศการ
6. โอกาสร่วมงานกับภัณฑารักษ์ที่มีประสบการณ์จากประเทศในอุษาคเนย์

■ เมื่อส่งใบสมัครสำเร็จแล้ว ท่านจะได้รับอีเมลอัตโนมัติจากระบบ ในอีเมลจะแจ้งรายละเอียดของใบสมัคร และลิงค์เพื่อแก้ไข
■ จะมีการแจ้งการนัดหมายให้ทราบทางอีเมล ภายในวันที่ 17 พฤษภาคม 2561 สำหรับนัดแรก (ผู้สมัครก่อนจะได้รับการติดต่อเพื่อจองเวลาก่อน)

Asian Culture Station is delighted to announce an open call for one visual artist to be selected to exhibit his/her solo exhibition with collaboration with Mr. Vuth Lyno, a curator from Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
This open call is a continuing project after the Curatorial Practice in Asia Symposium and CAC Workshop#1, which were held last year by ACS in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
The selected applicants are expected to meet and present their work and new project to the curator at least one or two hours on the 23-25 May 2018 and participate and produce new artwork for the exhibition. The exhibition expects to open around October to December 2018. Both appointments will be made after the application complete and then after the curator selects the successful applicant.
Applicant Qualifications
1.Due to the collaborate with a foreign curator, the applicant must communicate in English (speaking, listening, reading and writing)
2.Fill and submit the application form in English. Please prepare links to download your Portfolio (with maximum 15 pages and not exceed than 20 MB), CV and a portrait image.
3.Live in Chiang Mai and must be available to participate activities of the project.
Successful applicant will receive these support from the project
- Artist fee 15,000 Thai Baht
- Production fee 30,000 Thai Baht
- Exhibition installation team support
- Publication and PR by ACS team
- Exhibition reception
- Be able to work with a experience curator from Southeast Asia
■ The deadline of the application is May 15, 2018
■ After the successful submit, you will receive an automatic email from the system. In the email, there will be a summary of your application and a link to edit the form.
■ The successful applicants will be informed via email by the May 17, 2018 for the first appointment. (Those who apply first will have a first chance to book their appointment)
