Asian Culture Station มีความยินดีเสนอ การเปิดรับสมัคร ศิลปิน ภัณฑารักษ์ และคนทำงานด้านศิลปะ ผู้สนใจสามารถเข้าสังเกตการณ์ได้

กิจกรรมที่เปิดรับสมัครครั้งนี้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการสัมมนา งานภัณฑารักษ์ในเอเชีย ซึ่งจะจัดขึ้นระหว่าง วันที่ 15 – 17 กรกฎาคม 2560 ที่เชียงใหม่ ผู้สมัครที่จะได้รับคัดเลือกต้องสามารถมาร่วมกิจกรรมของทั้ง 3 วันได้ โดยเฉพาะการสนทนาแบบตัวต่อตัวในวันที่ 17 กรกฎาคม

แม้การสัมมนาครั้งนี้จะมีชื่อว่า งานภัณฑารักษ์ในเอเชีย แต่ก็ไม่ใช่กิจกรรมสำหรับภัณฑารักษ์เท่านั้น แต่เป็นกิจกรรมที่เปิดกว้างสำหรับชุมชนทางศิลปะให้เข้าร่วมรับฟังการบรรยาย เสวนา และการพบปะพูดคุยเพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนกับเหล่าภัณฑารักษ์ที่ต่างมีความเชี่ยวชาญคนละด้าน

นับเป็นโอกาสอันดีสำหรับศิลปิน ภัณฑารักษ์ และคนทำงานด้านศิลปะ ที่ต้องการรับรู้มุมมองต่องานของตนจากการพบปะพูดคุยกับภัณฑารักษ์รับเชิญกันแบบตัวต่อตัว โดยจะจับคู่จากการพิจารณาแฟ้มงาน (portfolio) และสายงานให้เข้ากัน งานนี้เหมาะกับคนทำงานรุ่นเยาว์ที่ต้องการพัฒนาความสามารถ จนไปถึงผู้เชี่ยวชาญที่ต้องการแลกเปลี่ยนความเห็น กับคนสายงานทางด้านศิลปะร่วมสมัย ศิลปะสื่อ ภาพยนตร์ และศิลปะการแสดง

ผู้สนใจสามารถเข้าสังเกตการณ์ได้

■ หมดเขตรับสมัคร วันที่ 30 มิถุนายน 2560

■ ประกาศผลการสมัครให้ทราบทางอีเมลภายในวันที่ 5 กรกฎาคม 2560

■ การสมัคร โปรดกรอกและคลิ๊กส่งใบสมัครด้วยภาษาอังกฤษ โปรดเตรียมลิงค์เพื่อดาว์นโหลดแฟ้มงาน (portfolio)ของท่าน (มากที่สุด 15 หน้า และ ขนาดไม่เกิน 20 MB)

■ เมื่อส่งใบสมัครสำเร็จแล้ว ท่านจะได้รับอีเมล์อัตโนมัติจากระบบ ในอีเมล์จะแจ้งรายละเอียดของใบสมัคร และลิงค์เพื่อแก้ไข

Asian Culture Station is delighted to announce an open call for artists, curator and art practitioners. Observers are also welcome.

This open call is part of the Curatorial Practice in Asia symposium, which will be held on July 15-17, 2017, in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The selected applicants are expected to join the 3-day event and must show up for the one-on-one meeting on the July 17, 17.

Although the title of the symposium is Curatorial Practice in Asia, this is not a direct curatorial study for curator. Rather, it is for a wider art community to listen and interact with curators who have extensive experience with different art forms through presentation, discussion and the one-on-one meeting.

This is an opportunity for artists, curator and art practitioners who would like to get a valuable reflection on their work through a one-on-one meeting with invited curators. The selection criteria for this one-on-one meeting are based on the quality of the applicant’s portfolio and its relevance to the expertise of invited curators. We encourage applicants who seek to improve their practice in the areas of contemporary fine arts, media arts, film and performance to apply. Observation only is also possible.

■ The deadline of the application is June 30, 2017

■ The successful applicants will be informed via email by the July 5, 2017.

■ To apply, please fill and submit the application form in English. Please prepare links to download your Portfolio (with maximum 15 pages and not exceed than 20 MB) and CV.

■ After the successful submit, you will receive an automatic email from the system. In the email, there will be a summary of your application and a link to edit the form.
